Psyche falls.
Into the dark, into exile, into the long bassline of longing.
She walks the underworld, barefoot, beat-driven,
a quest scrawled on the cave walls of her ribs—
tasks, trials, sweat, movement, devotion.
She digs her hands into the dirt of desire,
pulls out something heavier than love.
